It is produced with the intention of providing the consumer, the appetite suppressing properties of Hoodia in a very powerful form. Here’s a look at some important makes of Hoodia liquid extracts:

• Hoodia Mist - This product contains a 20:1 extract. Each bottle of liquid extract is made from South African Hoodia Gordonii. 

• Hoodithin - This product contains a 20:1 extract. Each bottle of liquid extract is made from South African Hoodia Gordonii. 

The companies that manufacture the above-mentioned products display certificates as proof that they are using genuine Hoodia Gordonii from South Africa. Liquid extracts are marketed by these companies as they feel that taking Hoodia Gordonii in liquid form is much easier for the body to absorb than in the form of pills and capsules.  Furthermore, since liquid extract products are high concentrates of Hoodia Gordonii succulents, they can be highly effective in inducing weight loss.

However, no serious studies have been conducted to show the effectiveness of Hoodia Gordonii in the liquid form over pills and capsules. This is also true of liquid extracts and so if you want to buy a Hoodia Liquid extract product, make sure you buy one from a company which displays the C.I.T.E.S certificate in its’ website, so that you can be sure they are using genuine Hoodia Gordonii in their products.
